From the glass doors in the dining room there is access to the garden and walkways looking out over the river. From the patio the walkways meander through the beautifully landscaped grounds. Stop, smell the flowers, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the river.

The main floor also presents several lovely spaces including a library, where one may find interesting books and periodicals, and an intimate lounge conducive to a game of bridge. Further along the lobby is the cocktail lounge which is very popular before dinner.

On the rooftop, the spectacular Vista Lounge offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Rideau River and the city. It is a lovely setting for social and family events, and provides next door access to the rooftop terrace for outdoor pleasure.

Shop on the neighbourhood main street, Beechwood Avenue, where you may find a variety of inviting stores from restaurants and coffee shops, to drugstore, supermarket and flower shops. You may choose to walk or take the house shuttle.
